The Adventist-Laymen’s Services and Industries (ASI) Inter-American Division (IAD) recently conducted a highly successful evangelism campaign in the parishes of St. James and Westmoreland, Jamaica, from June 14th to June 28th, 2025. This initiative, dubbed the “ASI IAD Evangelism Impact WJC Campaign 2025,” saw hundreds of individuals seeking truth, hope, and a better way of life converge on 10 different sites. Evangelists from ASI IAD delivered nightly sermons that were Bible-based, God-directed, and Holy-Spirit filled.

These dedicated evangelists exemplified their passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, making personal sacrifices of their time, talent, and finances to further the Kingdom of Heaven. One evangelist, upon receiving devastating news just before his departing flight, powerfully declared, “What the devil has done, he will have to pay in the currency of Souls.” This declaration bore fruit at his campaign site in Strathbogie, Westmoreland, where eight individuals surrendered their lives and were baptized.

In total, 114 souls were baptized during the two-week campaign. Additionally, many others who attended the meetings pledged their commitment to Jesus in the near future. Bible Workers, Personal Ministries Leaders, and pastors were encouraged to continue nurturing these new believers using the follow-up and strategic visitation forms provided by the ASI IAD Evangelism team.
Pastor Glen O. Samuels, President of West Jamaica Conference (WJC), one of the five conferences within the Jamaica Union of Seventh-day Adventists, expressed profound gratitude for the sacrifices made by the evangelists and their spouses. He conveyed his appreciation during a special luncheon held at the Mount Salem Headquarters in St. James, acknowledging their willingness to minister in this part of the Lord’s vineyard.
The ASI Inter-American Division Evangelism Team and the ASI Jamaica Union President, Cecil Foster, continue to embody the motto, “Sharing Christ in the Marketplace.” ASI remains a vital supporting ministry of the Adventist Church in the Inter-American Division, diligently working to fulfill its mission of “Making disciples for Jesus as His loving witnesses, proclaiming to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels’ Messages in preparation for Jesus’ return.”
